We offer fine antique, modern, as well as the best sounding student instruments available at a fair price. Chicago Strings also carries a full line of strings, accessories, cases, sheet music, instructional books and offers all sizes of violin, viola, and cello rentals for students.
Chicago Strings feature BAM & Musafia cases, Yamaha electric instruments, Arcos Brasil fine bows, Arcus carbon fiber bows, Luis & Clark carbon instruments, as well as Headway pickups and preamps. We have a full line of accessories including MIghty Bright stand lights, K&M music stands, and a complete line of strings and rosins. want a membership to this place! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I wanted a silent violin to practice at my apartment but I never tried one. When I called late in the afternoon near the close time, the staff took a detailed note for me. Soon enough Jeff contacted me and not only answered all my questions but made great suggestions. When I visited the store Jeff already set everything up for me to try. He is very supportive and professional. I got a lot of great suggestions from him on electric violin. On top of the e-violin I was also able to upgrade the case and the bow for my own violin.
